Amy is a Partner at Curtis, Dawe with a practice which encompasses natural resource and energy law, civil litigation, family law, media law and residential real estate. She represents a diverse group of clients including governmental departments, municipal governments, chartered banks, oil and gas industry companies, and individuals in many types of matters.
Amy has a B.Sc. from Memorial University of Newfoundland (1992) and a LL.B from the University of New Brunswick (1995). She was called to the bar and joined the firm as an associated in 1996 and was admitted to partnership in 2004.
Amy is an elected Bencher with the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, member of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation and the Canadian Media Lawyers Association. She is the Chair of Newfoundland and Labrador Crime Stoppers and a Honourary Life Member of the Royal St. John's Regatta Committee.
