A Senior Partner of Curtis Dawe, Paul has a B.A. in psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He continued his studies at Dalhousie where he received a LL.B. He was called to the bar in 1974, joined Curtis Dawe in 1974 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2001.
His main area of practice is civil litigation, with concentrations on medical malpractice defense and administrative law. He also focuses on commercial law and has particular interest in real estate and financing. Paul has provided regional and national services to clients and advises many in respect to corporate matters including acquisitions, financing, debt collection, and security enforcement.
Paul is a former co-chair of Continuing Legal Education on Behalf of the Canadian Bar Association (Newfoundland and Labrador Branch).
