Annette M. Conway
Annette is a partner with Curtis Dawe with over 25 years of litigation experience in a range of practice areas. She completed a B.A. from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1991 and an LL.B from the University of Windsor in 1994. She was admitted to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1995. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Annette’s primary litigation practise includes insurance defence, personal injury, construction, and contractual disputes. Her work in Municipal Law includes advising municipalities on various areas such as construction, contracts, employment issues. Annette’s practice in Fertility Law stems from personal experience and a desire to assist individuals in the creation of their families.
Outside the Firm:
Annette has been the legal representative on the Non-Clinical Trials Committee for the Health Research Ethics Board in Newfoundland and Labrador since 2013. She is currently a director on the board of PLIAN (Public Legal Information Association of NL), an independent non-profit that provides general information and education with the intent of increasing access to justice. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking the East Coast Trails with her family and is at work on a novel.
