Since her admission to the Bar of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2015, she has acted for various business and public sector clients across a broad range of legal matters including business and construction claims, shareholder and oppression disputes, disability and insurance matters, administrative proceedings and judicial reviews. She regularly appears in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of Newfoundland and Labrador, and has been involved in leave applications in the Supreme Court of Canada. She was recognized as a Leading Lawyer to Watch in the area of Corporate-Commercial Litigation by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.

Megan has substantial experience representing domestic and foreign-based clients in a range of mining industry matters including asset acquisitions; option agreements; royalty agreements; and due diligence. She has also served as the Chair of the Newfoundland and Labrador Mineral Rights Adjudication Board since 2019.

Megan is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law (2014) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland (2011).
